Teen titans was created by WB and shown on Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network decided to eliminate much of the content created by other entities and instead wanted to focus on their own material made in house. This material is much less expensive than having to buy programming from the outside like Teen Titans. Teen Titans was originally a DC comics title and has been around in comic book form for several decades. There were five season produced so there will probably be reruns sooner or later or you can pick up the DVD sets at Amazon.com in the meantime to get your "Teen Titans" fix. You can also get all five season plus the final movie "Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo" off of Net Flix if you don't want to buy them.
I can't speak for "so many people" but personally I didn't like it because the animation style is too simplistic. The stories are not interesting due to the fact it's clearly geared for a much younger audience. Also, Young Justice which was a FAR superior program was cancelled to make room for Teen Titans Go.
Yes, however instead of full length episodes, there are appeared as shorts between DC Nation (Green Lantern and Young Justice) hour of Cartoon Network (As of 2012). Also it's rumored that if there is enough support for the shorts, than it's possible to have a Teen Titans Season 6
20 There isn't only 20 there is so so so so so much more. I searched and the teen titans have 65 episodes including the movie Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo and The Lost Episode. There are 5 seasons because Cartoon Network terminated the show, so they didn't finish season 6.
These may be spoilers, warning you now. IT IS ALSO A VERY LONG SUMMARY D: After Terra originally flees Titans Tower after assuming Beast Boy told the other Titans about her inability to control her powers, she was secretly training with Slade. When she comes back she acts as a "mole", and helps Slade ransack Titan's tower. However, she takes Beast Boy to an amusement park while the Sladebots invade. When Beast Boy finds out Terra betrayed them he refuses her friendship, and she fully gives herself to Slade. She then puts on a suit that genetically attaches to her, giving Slade full control. She attempts to wipe out the Titans one by one, but fails. Plasmus, Overload, and Cinderblock attack the Titans while she (Terra) flees, back to Slade, but Beast Boy follows her. She then begs for him to kill her, because she doesn't want to fight anymore. The other Titans arrive, and Terra realizes she has control over her life and defeats Slade, throwing him into the volcano. However, the volcano is going to erupt, so she sacrifices herself to save the city. By doing this she turns to stone, until the fifth season. In the last episode of the fifth season, the Teen Titans return to Jump City after the fall of the Brotherhood of Evil. During a fight with some shapeshifting monster... thing... Beast Boy swears he sees Terra and begins searching for her. The other Titans think it's impossible she was reversed from her stone state. He finds a girl at the High School and tries to make her remember she is Terra, but she insists he "Has the wrong girl". In the end, she tells Beast Boy he is the Titan and he should move on with his life. She also says "Things Change" and goes back to class. There's been much debate, but most people assume this is Terra brought back to a human state from a stone state when Raven saved the world from Trigon (remember, everyone but the Titans was turned to stone during that fight). Beast Boy moves on, and Terra lives on as a normal high school student.
There are 7 seasons in Teen Titans GO!
To me, I think Teen Titans is better. It's got much more action and comedy.
5 Seasons
About $4.95.
