500 years ago Katerina Petrova (Katherine) gave birth to a girl but her family took her away because Katerina wasn't married to the father. She was banished to England where its discovered that shes a double ganger and her blood is needed for a sacrifice ritual which lets vampires walk in the sun. A vampire called Rose gives Katerina her blood then Katerina hangs her self. Katerina's daughter gave birth to children who eventually gives birth to Isobel who gives birth to Elena. However Klaus, the oldest vampire of all time kills all of Katherine's family and that's the truth. Its revealed in the second series. and then elena dies and turns into a vampire and then in sesson 5, stephine dies and then comes back to life, then demons dies and bionie dies. also klouse has a baby with hay. and her baby name is hope. and klouse gives hope to his sister and then she takes care of her for a while, so no wichs cant kill the baby and then a lot of crazy things happen.hi hi hi hi hi hi
