I really don't know. I mean ya maybe, cause I don't see any other explanation really...The fact Tohru calls him by his nickname couldn't be stressful...nor did Tohru hug him, so that actually may be the answer.

In episode 129 of "Fruits Basket," Kyo does not turn into a cat when Tohru hugs him because he has broken the curse. The curse was lifted after he confessed his true feelings to Tohru and accepted himself fully, allowing him to no longer transform into the cat when hugged by a member of the opposite sex.

Not sure what you mean.....There is NO 24 (I really wish tho) But 22 and 23 are out. In 22 Tohru confesses her love for Kyo, and he tells her how he was involved in Tohru's mother's death, and it reveals what really happened when she died, then Tohru falls off a cliff, when she was making friends with Akito, and then When Kyo found out, he felt bad, cause Tohru had thought he had rejected her, and so he starts crying and she tells him to shush and that its okay, but she's partly unconscious, but he kisses her (when she is unconscious) and she doesn't figure that out until later, when she gets out of the hospital, and Kyo has to run after her as she runs away from him, and he tells her sorry, and that's not what he meant, he was thinking of his old regrets, and he's sorry. And then he kisses her again. And then she askes to hold him, and she does (hug him) thinking he'll turn into a cat, but he doesn't and so he rips off his bracelet. (this all happens in 22 & 23) And everythings all better. Also, in mangas before, the curse starts to break. Starting with Momiji. And everythings all better. And they all graduate, and Yuki ends up with Machi. The curse is officially broken, and Akito tells everyone that they are free to do as they wish, and that she is really a woman, forced to grow up as a man because her mother believed it wasn't right for a woman to rule the Sohma's. Her and Shigure end up together. Then of course Hiro and Kisa, Shigure's editor and Ritsu, Hatori and the old teacher of Tohru and Kyo and Yuki, Yuki and Machi....Tohru and Kyo....Haru and Rin....and so on (I think that's it...), Momiji and Kagura end up with no one. In the end it shows them, and they're back (Shigures house I believe) as an elderly couple (Kyo and Tohru) (from the back) walking hand in hand, and they have a granddaughter. But also, all the people couple off except for Momiji and Kagura:( (poor them) Kyo and Tohru Yuki and Machi Akito and Shigure Uo and Kureno Hatori and Mayu- Chan Hatsuharu and Rin Ayaame and Mine Kisa and Hiro Ritsu and Mitsuru (Mitchan...aka Shigure's editor) And Hana ends up working for Kazuma Sohma, and it doesn't really say they're an actual couple, but sorta, though it'd be weird cuz Kazuma is like Kyo's dad and he's in his late 30s early 40s or something around there... Also, it shows into the future, and Kyo and Tohru are an elderly couple and have a granddaughter, and its said that Kyo and Tohru's SON married Yuki and Machi's daughter. it did show that Tohru and Kyo had a son, but never Yuki and Machi had a daughter, but they probably did, so their daughter married Kyo and Tohru's son and those two grew up and had a daughter. Akito confesses she is a woman, and that her mother forced her to grow up as a man because she didn't believe a woman should be the head of the family (only Ayame, Shigure, and Hatori already knew. And Kureno, who told Tohru before everyone else). Kyo tells Tohru his part in her mother's death, And Tohru confesses her love for him. She makes friends with Akito, but then falls off a cliff, Kyo kisses her while she is unconscious, and when she comes out of the hospital, they kiss. It is also said that Yuki and Machi may have had a daughter and married Kyo and Tohru's son, but I'm not totally sure, I just saw someone said supposedly, but the author didn't really say. But Tohru and Kyo did have a son it showed a bit into the future.
