In Resurrection the real Michael comes back into play. In H20 Jamie Lee Curtis was hoping to finish the series by killing Michael, cutting off his head, but after she did so she found out that the contract says Michael Myers can't die, he can't be killed off, that is why the copy cat killer comes into play.
