Jim Schindler was the Executive Vice President of McDonalds International. I, Bob Findlay worked extensively with him when McDonalds Golden Arches Restaurants Limited were first set up in the UK. I was, at the time, Principal Project Engineer with John Laing Design Associates, later Technical Director with Trafalgar House Engineering Services. His right hand man was Marian Dobrowolski. The MD of MGAR over here was Bob Rhea.
