I seem to recall ( and this is historically inaccurate) the Bil Baird ( he always spelled it that way) Puppets were featured in some aspect of the Movie version of Sound of Music. The Bil Baird puppets were featured in the Chrysler Motors free exhibit at the New York World"s Fair entitled the Show-Go-Round. a forgettable piece of drivel, I still recall the silly opening jingle Show-Go-Round on the the Show-Go-Round- a rotating stage, natch.
