Chandler booked a vacation for him and Monica but she couldn't go so Ross went instead because Chandler couldn't cancel the reservations. When they get there, the hotel lost their reservations and they were forced to get an expensive room. To compensate for their loss, they try to steal everything they can without getting caught, including newspaper, apples, salt and pepper, batteries, toilet paper and more. But at the end, Ross went too far, trying to steal pinecones from the front lobby and the suitcases bust open and they are exposed.
