Where do you find the mystical unicorn in red dead redemption?

you have to look at the map and mark the challenge then there should be a red circle. In that area there should be the legendary beast.The first is the wolf , Lobo which means wolf in spanish then there was the legendary boar Gordo which means fat in spanish and i forgot the rest well i hope that answers your question. The unicorn can only be found once the Legendary level has been reached in the hunting challenge-which consists of finding and killing the (Chupacabra). To find the unicorn, simply go to the same place the Chupracabra was, near Torquemada and the three horses on the map. For me, the unicorn didn't appear until I had all of the challenges completed and the achievement popped. Unlike every other creature, there is no warning blue circle that it is near. You need to keep an eye open and look for it the old fashioned way. Once you get hold of the butterfly spouting horse, you'll also get the "Fan Service" Achievement/Trophy.

so approach it with a sniper rifle from a distance. or go near it with a buffalo rifle or Winchester repeter carbine but use dead eye and put 4 crosses on his body and hes dead! if not get your shotgun and run near it and shoot it with dead eye!

In order to find the unicorn you must first have completed the challenge of hunting the Chupracabra. One it is dead you can find the unicorn roaming around the lasso-shaped road to the west of Torquemada.
