In season 10, episode 5, The One Where Rachel's Sister baby-sits, Phoebe and Mike attend a NY Knicks game for their anniversary. She mentions that the onscreen proposals are cheesy and Mike runs away, as if to stop the announcement of his proposal. Phoebe decides to propose to him at another game only to get boos from the crowd. Later at dinner, Mike hides the ring in the cake, only to get a smirky remark from Phoebe before. Finally he pulls out and cleans the ring to propose to Phoebe. So they officially got engaged on the fifth try.
