There isn't really an average height for a growing person, since they are growing, they do not have a specific height. They grow every day. Most boys aren't very tall until they are about 14, when they start getting growth spurts. Females grow in height at a younger age, and males grow in weight at a younger age. You may know this already: but since a female (not all girls are like this, but most are) have reached their full height from aged 11-14, they're average height is 5 feet and 7 inches tall.
