The name is Abbott Lee Ruskin who appeared on Victor Borge's TV show probably in the fall of 1957. He followed that with orchestral appearances and I see him listed on recordings released in 2011. (The Golden Age Of The Romantic Piano Concertos) You will also see him listed in the past as playing with the MIT Symphony Orchestra. If you are genuinely serious about knowing more, contact Adam Boyles, MIT Music Director and Conductor at akboyles@mit.edu.

ADDENDUM BY TOM BARRISTER: He was born in 1945, I can find references to him giving concerts dating back as far as 1950. The last mainstream reference is from 1972, and most from 1960 to 1972 center around New York City. Delving into M.I.T.'s records, I can find him performing on three occasions in 1985, 1986, and 1987. I found nothing after that, but records indicate that he's living in Brooklyn.

First of all, it’s : Abbott Lee Ruskin. About 10 years ago, he was working fir Assemblyman Denny Farrell. I assumed that meant he lived in Manhattan.

I played on that recording. I was the MIT Symphony president at the time and Ruskin broke hammers on both of our 8' Steinways in Kresge. We imported the BSO's Baldwin for the sessions. The Baldwin came with the tuner, a blind man with a perfect ear.
