Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven all have in common that they are from the classical period. Also, Haydn was Mozart's and Beethoven's teacher. They all could play the piano. They have all worked as a musician in Vienna. Haydn was born in 1732, Mozart 1756, and Beethoven was 1770. Haydn influenced both Mozart and Beethoven. Mozart became good friends with Haydn. Beethoven improved upon the Classical Music of Mozart and Haydn's time.
The three composers, Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven, are considered the triumvirate of composers of music in the classical style. Indeed, these three men gave us what is by far, the greatest music of their time. Sonata form was so pervasive that it invaded every genre of music of the time, even opera and church music. The three composers under discussion here each created works that are a hybrid of other forms and sonata form. Rondo form and variation form were often blended with sonata form. Mozart and Haydn were both born in Austria. Beethoven was born in Germany, but spent most of his life working in Austria. They all died in Vienna, Austria.
They were both composers of the Classical Period, they both worked and died in Vienna, they both had pushy musical fathers, they were both at the peak of their profession, they both considered Haydn a friend and mentor. Mozart may have tutored Beethoven briefly and may have been impressed with his ability.
The most obvious thing is that they are all composers. However, their styles and the eras in which they composed are quite different. Bach (who came first) had a profound influence on both Mozart and Beethoven. After getting acquainted with Bach's music Mozart promptly assimilated the rich counterpoint and polyphony. Beethoven was 'raised' by the Well-Tempered Klavier, one of the things that attracted people to the young Beethoven was his ability to play the Well-Tempered Klavier flawlessly.
Both Mozart and Beethoven...
...were born in provincial cities in central Europe (Mozart in Salzburg, Austria; Beethoven in Bonn, Germany) but eventually moved to (and died in) Vienna, Austria
...were promoted as child prodigies by domineering fathers
...were greatly influenced by the older composer Franz Joseph Haydn (Mozart as a friend and colleague, Beethoven as a student)
...shared an important patron in Baron Gottfried Von Swieten, who introduced Mozart to the works of the baroque masters, and to whom Beethoven dedicated his First Symphony.
They all wrote music (symphonies, quartets, operas, ect...). They all moved to Vienna Austria to perform music. They also all died in Vienna and were payed to stay there because the King of Vienna made money by all the people who toke boats to come see Beethoven, Schubert, Haydn and Mozart play there symphonies, quartets operas, ect...

Richard Haydn played Professor Oddly in the classic comedy "Ball of Fire". However, Richard Hadyn may bebest known as the voice of The Caterpillar on Disney's 1951 "Alice in Wonderland".
Many artists and composers have been inspired by Jesus' last short statements on the Cross. Perhaps the best/most well known was Joseph Haydn in the 18th Century AD.
Music in the classical era, typified by Haydn and Mozart, is marked by adherence to sonata form, a way of making tonal (key) contrasts within a composition. Haydn and Mozart were content to follow pre-existing forms such as the symphony, string quartet, concerto, etc.In the Romantic era, composers such as Berlioz invented new forms almost for every composition they wrote - Berlioz wrote a "Fantastic" symphony, for instance, a symphony which included solos for singers, "Romeo et Juliette". In the Romantic period, the expression of the composer's personal feeling is more important than the form of the music.Romantic music is also marked by inspiration from literature. Liszt invented a form called "symphonic poems", for instance, trying to put narratives, or stories, into his music as well as the feelings he got from literary works by Dante, Shakespeare, Byron and others.Larger orchestras and greater musical forces also were used in the Romantic era than in the classical one. This is a very brief answer on a subject that could have a book written about it.Tonic-dominant harmony(apex

Beethoven and Haydn certainly did, Haydn taught Beethoven. Between Beethoven and Mozart the picture is less certain, they may have met in Vienna in 1787, and some people think that Beethoven may even have had a few lessons from Mozart. However the records are not clear or contemporaneous. Mozart and Hayden were great friends.
Mozart, then Haydn and Beethoven being slightly more romantic I would put him down last or not at all
Mozart and Beethoven
Haydn, Mozart, & Beethoven
Mozart is one of the firsts Classicists(From Haydn-Beethoven).... he is from the age of Enlightenment.
In the earlier period, Beethoven was much influenced by the music of Haydn (and Mozart as well). Beethoven dedicated his first three piano sonatas to Haydn. They are categorized as one set, Opus 2.
Theres Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Haydn
Haydn, Mozart, and early Beethoven.
Mozart was Beethoven's first teacher. Beethoven had just one lesson with him before he had to return to Bonn. When he returned, Mozart had died, and Haydn became Beethoven's teacher, but they never enjoyed the same rapport or mutual admiration that Mozart and Beethoven had.
