Professor Marvel was a humbug whom Dorothy Gale met during the Kansas sequence in the beloved 1939 film version of The Wizard of Oz. To entice his audiences, Marvel had his purported credentials emblazoned on the side of his wagon. He claimed that he was 'acclaimed by the crowned heads of Europe' for his skills as a fortune teller, juggler, slight of hand artist. In terms of fortune telling, he specified that he could tell one's past, present, and future by way of a crystal ball.
There is some scene where Professor Marvel- evidentally a Carnival Magician ( who is also the Wizard of Oz) is painting or repairing in some way his carnival wagon- this has no connection with the play- Paint Your Wagon! He used Horses, but cannot recall any names- not like Trigger, Mr. Ed, etc.
Sylvester is the name of Professor Marvel's horse in the beloved 1939 film version of "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, the horse appears in the film's beginning sequences in Kansas. He draws the wagon in which Professor Marvel stores his possessions and from which he earns his living through juggling and sleight of hand. He is directed by the Professor to find shelter from the storm preceding the landing of the cyclone.
Dorothy has just one uncle, who is ka Uncle Henry.
cause they are wagon burners xD
Hired farmhand work is what Zeke does in "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, Zeke helps Hickory lower a bed into its place on a wagon at the farm of Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. He then moves the hogs into the pig pen and pours feed into their trough. He rescues Dorothy Gale when she falls off the railing that encircles the pen. He welcomes her back to the Gale farmhouse when she awakens in her own bedroom after her Oz dream sequences.

The title character ( it seems this guy could split, like Multiman in Hanna-Barbera tv shows) The wagon was a carnival wagon from a travelling show- Professor Marvel. He was using it as (as we now would say) a Field Office . Never liked the picture so not really interested. It is possible there are two different versions- one where he Received Dorothy in a Carnival wagon, the other, in the Palace proper. seems there might be two different versions.
