What type of clothing is worn in timbuktu?

Well, some of my family is African. They wear like these colourful dresses and they wrap their heads with bandanas. When I watch African movies the men usually wear T-shirts and pants and the women usually wear dresses and head wraps. My uncle, his wife and their family is also African and they all wear dresses and head wraps. The dresses are usually called Africana dresses. i find that some of their dresses look absolutely stunning. Some day I want to go to Africa and see if I can get some of those Africana dresses. One time I even saw my African uncle wear this white Africana dress with a white hat. If only i had a million dollars I could go to Africa and buy at least a few Africana dresses for myself because my background has a little bit of African in it.
