here is my answer to the above question. first of all it is called acting for a reason, they are doing just that. most actors take more controversial roles to show their range so that they are not stuck in portraying a certain character. it amazes me how someone thinks someone is gay just because they play a role as gay or a woman. how come this question is not asked of people who play the roles of serial killers, molesters,etc. get a grip people it is a movie.play,etc nothing more.
