The anime is only semi-faithful to the manga, diverging into its own seperate story at around the point after the team defeat Ren's father.
While many of the same characters are involved (Chocolove, Jeanne, Hao's various followers), the plot is nonetheless very different. The events of the final few episodes simply don't happen anywere in the manga, and the ending is completely different.
There won't be any more episodes past episode 64 where Yoh destroys Zeke/Hao and Anna gives up trying to be Shaman Queen. However, There will be an extension of that episode in the form of a movie Shonen Jump is planning to publish in 2012.
