There is no alligator in Peter Pan, but there is a crocodile.

The corcodile in Disney's version is called Tick-Tock.

The crocodile does not have a name in the books and the play.

It depends on which version of Peter Pan you are asking about.

If you watch Disney's Peter Pan, Captain Hook never gets eaten by the crocodile, he only tries to get away from the crocodile which tries to eat Captain Hook.

However, in almost every other retelling of Peter Pan, along with the original play and novel, Captain Hook gets swallowed whole by the Crocodile.

Depending on the version you are reading or watching, Captain Hook was actually eaten by a crocodile, except in the Disney movie version. After Peter Pan fed Hook's hand to the crocodile, it developed a taste for the villain. Hook was pushed to his death by Peter during their final duel. In the Disney Movie version, Captain Hook was chased away by the crocodile, but not eaten.

It's actually a crocodile, and it's officially named "Tick-tock" in the comics that came out after the movie. It didn't have a name in the cartoon.

It says in Peter and the Starcatchers that it is called "Mr Grin" but I don't think it's said in any official book.

No. Depending on which version of Peter Pan you are reading or watching, Captain Hook is chased by a crocodile and, in some versions, is eaten by the crocodile.
