The movie Girl, Interrupted is based on the book. The book is about a 18 year old girl that is sent to a mental hospital and put into a taxi and brought to Mclean. Her name is Susanna Kaysen she ends up meeting one of her own. She was sent to her own parallel universe not being brought into life to live. She couldnt feel anything she had adventures. Met intersting people in her life that have the same experiences in life. Lisa is the most important character that becomes friends with Susanna. Susanna Kaysen was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, while Lisa on the other hand was worse she was diagnosed as a Sociopath after being in the ward for 8 years in her life. She was later on released in the 70s. Susanna tryed to use the hospital on her way to get out. Lisas eyes saw freedom and she was a lifer she was energetic once in a while, she was different. Unlike girls in the hospital Lisa didnt use the hospital as a way to get out she used it to be free. The girls felt they were stuck ina torcher chamber waiting to get out, waiting to get out, and waiting to be released.
