1. Press L+R to get 467 Heart Scales in the first slot of the items pocket in the bag.
2. Take the index number of the move you want (find the list of moves here: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_moves) and subtract that from 467.
3. Subtract that number out of the Heart Scales. You should have the original index number of the move you want.
4. Press L and go the TMs and HMs pocket in the bag. The first TM should have the name of the move you wanted. Use this on the Pokémon that you wanted to have the move.
Example: You want your Pikachu to have Volt Tackle. The index number for Volt Tackle is 344. 467-344=123. Subtract 123 Heart Scales out. Press L. Your Pikachu learns Volt Tackle!
