What is the climax of the story of Beauty and the Beast?

A prince falls under a curse after being rude to a fairy where he will be a beast for the rest of his life, unless he is able to love somebody that will love him back before his 21st birthday. After meeting Belle (Beauty), he is encouraged because she does not care about the way he looks, unlike most people he meets. They finally both fall in love before his birthday, and the man turns back into the princess. They lived happily ever after.

The Beast falls in love with Belle, Gaston raids the castle and ends up stabbing the Beast in the ribs, the Beast accidentally knocks Gaston off of the balcony and he falls to his death, Belle proclaims her love for the Beast, the Beast turns back into a human and comes back to life, Belle looks into his eyes and realizes it's him, they kiss, everyone turns back to their human form, the castle is restored, the sun miraculously comes out, and everyone lives happily ever after. Yay.
