Some websites say that Indiana law states that you're required to obtain a genuine exotic animal ownership permit in order to own something like a wolfdog. However, in.gov states that hybrids of exotic animals with cats and dogs are exempt from permitting. For more info, please go to hybridlaw.com and select "IN" and then either click on 1, 2, or all of the 3 links that are legally and publicly provided from in.gov. Even after visiting hybridlaw.com, you might want to contact a person from Indiana's DNR (Indiana Department of Natural Resources) just to make sure.
Also, on another note---many people cannot handle real wolfdogs, ESPECIALLY the very high-contents, due to their stubborn and overall wolfy behavior. You cannot keep (a) wolfdog(s) inside your home, unless if it's/they're (a) low-content(s) that doesn't/don't chew on anything other than his/her/their toy(s). Also, make sure you're getting one (or more, if you want more than one) from a good and reputable breeder. To find out who's a good and bad wolfdog breeder, you can visit one or both of these 2 websites: realwolfdogs.tumblr.com/wolfdogbreeders and/or wolfdogmyths.blogspot.com/2010/01/bogus-breeders.html. I'm sure you don't want to spend $1k or more on a giant woolly black and white-coated blue-eyed Alusky (Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky mix) that was advertised as a "very high-content 99.99% F1 wolf Husky (dire wolf/Siberian Husky wolfdog)" on WolfHuskyPups or some similar situation like that!
I'll also list the bad breeders here in case if both of the websites shut down in the future or something like that:
WolfHuskyPups (also owns PupsPlus)
Wolfdogbabies
Wolfhaven Spirit of the Past (STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY)
Carrkinneywolfden (also known as Carrol's Open Arms Wolf Haven)
Starcross Wolves (ALSO STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY)
SoCal Wolf (also known as Hybrid Wolf Puppies of Rancho Los Lobos)
Arizona Hybrid Association (not a breeder, but misrepresents their "wolfdogs")
Shadowland Foundation (not a breeder, is basically just like Arizona Hybrid Association)
Yadkin Wolf Den (also owns MyShiba, RPK (Right Puppy Kennel), Blustag Tamaskan, and Loving Pup Spa & Resort)
Chaparral Farm (also breeds *real* White Shepherds)
Back Home Farms
Dysart's Wolf Kennel
Edyes Wolfhybrids
High Desert Wolves
Howling Hills Wolf Hybrids
Nor-Cal Wolfdogs
Sun Valley Wolf Kennels
Wolf Track Acres
Wolf Acre Kennels
Hoobly (not a breeder but full of fake wolfdog puppy ads)
Craigslist (not a breeder either but you may *rarely* see a fake wolfdog puppy ad or 2)
Howling Ranch
Shorinji Kennels
Howling Hills Wolf Ranch (Has mostly real wolfdogs, but sometimes falsifies percentages (ex. they claim their Virgil on the homepage is 92.75% timber wolf. There is no such percentage as "92.75%", although Virgil does appear to be a real wolfdog.) and has a fake "wolfdog" here and there (ex. particularly, the black and tan puppy on page 3. If anything, this one is a VERY low-content wolfdog. (S)He appears to be a Rottweiler puppy.). )
And there's probably a lot more bad misrepresenting wolfdog breeders out there that I missed as well. There's just so many of them...
...yeah...be aware of deadly wolfdog misrepresentation...
Yes Indiana has a Castle Doctrine law that's "Stand Your Ground"
No. In October 2015, the Indiana Supreme Court upheld Indiana's Synthetic Drug Law. K2 is a synthetic drug.

Wolves can't be registered but wolf hybrids can. If you are thinking of getting 1 they cost 600$ and above. I would know because I have a European Wolf Hybrid named Jack, and he eats what any regular wolf would eat. But they are great pets to have and it is legal.
Mostly it is because there is a debate over whether canine vaccines are effective on wolf hybrids. There are bound to be other reasons, however, and it will vary widely from doctor to doctor.
No; wolf dogs are hybrids of a wolf and a domesticated dog.Unless you are very experienced in raising wolves or dogs, it is not recommended to raise one.
no apparently the only hybrids allowed are bengal cats
Yes, -were- means half and werewolves are half human half wolf.
Yes, but there is a really good chance that your or the "wolfy husky hybrid" you are refering to isnt part wolf at all. Especially if where ever he/she came from came with the title "hybrid". That is a red flag for uneducated. The correct term is wolfdog. They are not hybrids because a wolf and a dog are the same species (Wolf is Canis Lupis, dog is a kind of wolf, Canis Lupus Familaris)
A dog that is part wolf is called a wolf-dog hybrid. These hybrids can vary widely in behavior and appearance, depending on the percentage of wolf DNA they have and the specific dog breed they are crossed with. It is important to note that keeping wolf-dog hybrids as pets can be challenging due to their natural instincts and wild traits.
Law of the Wolf was created in 1939.
