However, both 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' and 'Kate Plus 8" are still being broadcast in international markets. Many of those international fans are just catching up on the family news - creating a new wave of Gosselin fans.

"TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8. By the end of this season Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8); an exceptional milestone. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future."
Contrary to her public persona, Kate Gosselin says she will continue to have a positive attitude and looks forward to her next opportunity working in front of the cameras.

∙ 12y agoThe last episode of Kate Plus 8 was broadcast in September 2011. TLC announced the cancellation in August, with only 5 episodes remaining in the season.
Viewership was decreasing - down to somewhere around 1 million versus the high of 10 million for some Jon and Kate Plus 8 episodes.
Kate Gosselin has tweeted that she was not surprised by the news, but that it was difficult to explain to the kids.
