Children played the same type of games that modern children would under the same setting. There were mock hunts, informal Lacrosse type games, and about any other type of play within the moral limits of the tribe. There were formal games that were actually teaching tools for the young to become adults (too numerous to list, and without context would not make much sense).

Cherokee Indians played a game called stck-ball and it is played by mainly tennagers and the fathers while the children either help the mothers with the cleaning or the children play out-side with all of the other little kids while the mom could be cleaning or preparing the food.

Cherokee Indians played Stickball with a rival tribe and chunky ball witch is a game where everyone has stick. Then a ball is rolled, and who ever got closer to the ball while it was still rolling would win.

One of the most popular games in the past that was played by Cherokee Indians was stick ball. They also played pole games and marble games.
