The original episode aired on 4/24/2009 and was titled "Stage Fright". She had played an extra in a part that was being filmed at her shop and had her hand hurt when a camera came crashing onto her. Jim went with her to have it checked out and x-rayed at the end and they asked if there was a chance she might be pregnant, then the scene cut to the ultrasound where it showed their little baby growing... :)

The episode is called Leap of Faith. Melinda is in danger and is about to drown in a flood. Jim/Sam finds out and of course goes to rescue her. While Jim/Sam is swimming to rescue Melinda he becomes out of breathe and starts to drown himself. While.he is drowning all of his past memories as Jim return. Melinda manages to swim towards Jim/Sam and rescues him. Jim/Sam passes out and when he awakens he remembers who he is. Melinda calls him Sam and Jim looks confused at Melinda and asks her Why are you calling me Sam I'm Jim. This tells Melinda he now knows who he really is and they kiss. Melinda is also pregnant with real Jims baby.

Yeah well your watching parts of season 4 and then going to season 5. well Jim died and went into this guy name sam. Now when Jim went into sam body he couldn't remember anything cuz of the accident. but throughout season 4 he starts to remember things but things about melinda and then in a episode called the leap of faith . Jim remebers and doesnt even remember going into someone elses body. wel then in the next episode melinda finds out she is pregant wif jims baby not sam! this was before Jim died. so that's pretty much how it goes n then in season 5 there son is born..i no confusing...but i hope it helps!
