If you're referring to the movie, there was no "real Billy Jack"; it's not a true story. Tom Laughlin (who plays Billy Jack, and who also wrote, produced, and directed the movie) is "real" a Billy Jack as there is.

I'm sure that Tom Laughlin would have appreciated (he died a few years ago) that you found the character of Billy Jack, who he played in a movie that he wrote, directed, and produced, convincing enough that you believed it was a true story ... but it wasn't. Tom Laughlin is as "real" a Billy Jack as there ever was.
