Whatever you do is likely to have repercussions.
I am not sure what you mean by "direct" - light tends to travel in a straight line. The length of the shadow depends on the length of the pole, and of the height of the Sun.
John Bailey says, "There is an element in film noir, in the way light and shadow is used in such extreme contrast, that is almost religious or spiritual or philosophical.
"Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow" Soliloquy as written by Shakespeare:Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,Creeps in this petty pace from day to dayTo the last syllable of recorded time,And all our yesterdays have lighted foolsThe way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!Life's but a walking shadow, a poor playerThat struts and frets his hour upon the stageAnd then is heard no more: it is a taleTold by an idiot, full of sound and fury,Signifying nothing."Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow" Soliloquy Paraphrase:How the days stretched out - each one the same as the one before, and they would continue to do so, tediously, until the end of history. And every day we have lived has been the last day of some other fool's life, each day a dot of candle-light showing him the way to his death-bed. Blow the short candle out: life was no more than a walking shadow - a poor actor - who goes through all the emotions in one hour on the stage and then bows out. It was a story told by an idiot, full of noise and passion, but meaningless.
technically yes and no. yes because the ground hog did not see his shadow. no because just because a ground hog does not see a shadow does not mean the winter is coming to a close.
it means you are so scared that eneything could scare you
The question isn't even spelled correctly. Dont you mean "cast"? Regardless, atomic weight refers to the combined number of protons & neutrons in the nucleus of an atom. Light is not an atom. It is a photon (particle) or an electromagnetic wave. It has no mass & no atomic weight. Light does not cast a shadow. The shadow is cast by an object blocking the light.
A shadow always appears. If you are solid, you create a shadow. If the light source is directly overhead, your shadow may be cast behind you. Just turn your head, and I assure you, your shadow will be there.
You need to light another candle
He summarizes it at the end when Macbeth says "Signifying nothing". Macbeth is facing his defeat and a walking shadow can be gone after the candle is blown out. He has no control when the candle will disappear so the shadow is walking to get somewhere but it's pointless. A shadow is just a puppet.
if you see your shadow it means you blocked a light ray
If you mean lit as in "He lit the candle", then the preset tense for lit is Light. "I am lighting the candle."
