She was bested in the amazing 1967 Honolulu Race by Bob Johnson's stripped and lightened 73' ketch, Ticonderoga, one of the most beautiful sailing vessels of all time. I believe the naval architect for Stormvogel was Giles VanDeststant. Approximate build date would have been 1965. Probably was built of fibreglass.
