They were Red, and They are Called Smokestacks. :)

The above answer is incorrect-. They were a kind of buff yellow/brown. Often when prints were made from illustrations the colors were not reproduced well and caused the funnels to look a darker almost reddish color hence the confusion.

Actually, the "Nomadic" still sits in Belfast harbor.  It is the only remaining white star passenger tender and still bears the official white star funnel color used on Titanic and Olympic.  It is more of a peach/yellow.

The Funnels main colour were a Mustard/brown with black at the top.
