Unfortunately the mankind has built weapons almost with all available material:

Axes was made of wood and iron,

Bows were essentially made with wood, while modern bows, conceived essentially as sport equipment, are made of light and flexible metal alloys;

Swords with iron in middle age, steel in more modern ages; sometimes the sword hilt is done of other material: treated skin, ivory, and so on.

Catapults was made almost all by wood;

Cannons was fabricated with iron or bronze at the beginning, in steel up to now;

Guns are made in a variety of materials: present days specialized guns are fabricated so to be optimized for the intended use using light and resistant metal alloys, steel and other materials; wood is sometimes still present, for example in hunting guns,

Then we could name bombs, explosives and chemical weapons that are fabricated using chemical substances that are designed to be optimized for the use (for example high power explosives), high penetration projectiles that are built using very heavy materials like lead or even depleted uranium and so on.
