India is showing some improvements with problems like illiteracy, gender discrimination, child labor, quota system, unemployment. But the problem that has been prevailing since the time of British India is disability discrimination. Disabled people in India are treated with no equality. Lack of disabled friendly infrastructure, high unemployment rate, lack of respect, lack of consideration from others, etc are all the problems these specially abled people have to face in today's India. The Indian government have recently initiated a campaign called Accessible India to empower specially abled peopel across India, but it will take some time to have some positive impact. There are also NGOs that are working hard to help them out. One of these hard working NGOs is Ponty Chadha Foundation (PCF), particularly working towards the betterment for under privileged people.
