Both owls and humans are vertebrates (they have backbones), and breath air. We also are warm blooded animals. Both owls and humans have eyesight and hearing as their primary senses. Both owls and humans care for their young.

Besides these, there are far too many similarities to list, some of which would seem rather silly (we both have the same organ systems, we both are made of matter, we both live on Earth, etc).
