Regular light bulbs work as heaters while giving light.

More than half the power used by Incandescent Bulbs goes to heating your room, rather than lighting it.

Most household electricity supplies come from rainwater flowing downhill (Hydroelectricity), or boiling water to drive steam turbines with coal, oil or nuclear heaters.

Fluorescent lights emit a narrower range of light wavelengths, using their input power more efficiently.

LED lights emit on an even narrower range of light, so are brighter within their colour.

Lasers can be even more efficient, but they are often so focussed and one coloured that they are not very useful for household lighting.

Global warming can be considered one the effects of light bulbs. Many people had a lack of sleep when they were invented because their offices or factories were able to open though it was dark (gas and fire were available to light the dark, but it was expensive)

How do you make a light bulb light up using a 1.5 volt battery?

To make a light bulb light up using a 1.5 volt battery, you would need to connect the positive terminal of the battery to the positive terminal of the light bulb, and then connect the negative terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of the light bulb. This completes the circuit and allows electricity to flow from the battery through the filament of the light bulb, causing it to light up.

How do you connect a wire to make the bulb light?

To connect a wire to make a bulb light up, you need to complete an electric circuit. This involves connecting one end of the wire to the positive terminal of a power source (such as a battery) and the other end to the bulb's positive terminal. Then, connect the negative terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of the bulb to complete the circuit and allow electricity to flow, causing the bulb to light up.

Describe how a meter would be connected in a circuit too measure the voltage at a light bulb?

To measure the voltage at a light bulb, you would connect the positive probe of the meter to the positive terminal of the light bulb and the negative probe of the meter to the negative terminal. Set the meter to the voltage measurement setting, and it will display the voltage across the light bulb. Always make sure the circuit is turned off before making any connections.

Do you have a diagram on 9volt battery and light bulb?

I can't display images. However, a 9-volt battery can be connected to a light bulb by attaching one end of a wire to the positive terminal of the battery, and the other end to the bottom tip of the bulb. Then, connect another wire from the top tip of the bulb to the negative terminal of the battery. When the circuit is complete, the bulb should light up.
