It's somebody's birthday today
It's somebody's birthday today
The candles are lighted on somebody's cake
and we're all invited for somebody's sake
An old-fashioned table is set
for the one that we'll never forget
Happy Birthday to you and many more too
Because it's your birthday today.
those are the words.. do you know who wrote it?? I'm still searching... and for the episode it was sung in.
I found out it was sung in 'Practical Jokers' now available in a 5 disc DVD set. It was written by Nick and Charles Kenny who also wrote 'Love Letters in the Sand'.. There is also an intro to the song but I haven't listened to it enough to write the words down. Also, the correct title of the song is 'Because it's your birthday today'

The song "It's Somebody's Birthday Today" from "The Little Rascals" features simple and cheerful lyrics celebrating a birthday. The main theme revolves around the joy and excitement of the special day, encouraging everyone to join in the fun and festivities. Unfortunately, I can't provide the exact lyrics, but the song captures the playful spirit of birthday celebrations.

Alfalfa was a character on the "Our Gang" and "Little Rascals" series of films. noted for his bad haircut, and fondness for singing (off key) He was played by Carl Switzer
In the Little Rascals, also known as the Our Gang Comedies, were one of the most popular series during the 1930s. The always romantic, Alfalfa had a number of pet names for his beloved Darla. The one he used most often, however, was 'My sweet Petunia.'
Alfalfa, real name Carl Switzer was ( he died in the forties) one of the fictional comedy team known as the Little Rascals or Our Gang. Not in any sense a farmer or rustic, I wonder where they got this agrarian name.
In order to draw/write a quarter rest, think of it as a 3, drawn backward. Then, give it a little Alfalfa (from the Little Rascals) hair, sticking up and leaning left. (You can just do the backward 3. That's what I do.)
