The song was choreographed by Leslie Segar, who was also one of the dancers. Some sources say the younger female dancers were named Misty and Vanity. (Whitney Houston does a shout-out to Chaka Khan at the end of the song; "I'm Every Woman" was originally a hit for Chaka in 1978, and Whitney always liked her version. Interestingly, Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, is seen in this music video, as are members of TLC.)
