Yes I agree with above, very small chances. I've played for about 5 years and I've ran into 1 shiny Pokemon, a Pikachu in the safari zone on Pokemon Emerald

∙ 14y agoAround 1 in 5000. but if you use a game shark or action replay, even with out the code, its about 1 in 2000. if you own an action replay or GameShark you can put a shiny code and use that instead.

Shiny Pokemon are Pokemon you get out of luck or by cheating. The chances of getting a shiny Pokemon without action replay is 1 in 8192 chance and no if you hatch 8192 eggs the chances are still and always 1 in 8192. So if you really want a shiny Pokemon just keep trying and eventually you may get one but no matter how many eggs you hatch you still have a low probablility of getting a shiny Pokemon. But you can use poke radar that you get from either prof.rowan or prof.oak and look for shiny patches of grass be careful i am going to go eat a cake
