What are the Star Wars movies rated?

Oh, dude, like, the Star Wars Movies are rated PG-13 for the newer ones and PG for the original trilogy. So, you know, you can watch them with your kids, but, like, maybe cover their eyes during the hand-chopping scenes. It's all fun and games until someone loses a limb, right?

All of the Star Wars movies were rated PG by the MPAA, except for Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, which was rated PG-13.

Originally true, however, several years ago the Original Trilogy was re rated and given a G rating

Five of the six Star Wars episodes are PG: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Revenge of the Sith was PG-13. It's unknown at this point what rating Episode VII will be.
