Parisian landmarks (Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel tower) and monuments (Notre-Dame cathedral, the Louvre Museum) are gorgeous. France ranks at the top of the list for the number of world Heritage sites. And finally, it is a safe country, and is affordable for tourists (it has 25% more tourists that the US, but draws 15% less revenue from tourism)
