Is blue's friend in blue's clues a girl or boy?

No, girls look good in blue, too. (There are some shades of pastel blue that most boys would never wear!) It actually depends on what you think. You can say "Oh yeah totally, it's only a boy color." Or you can say "Well, I'm a girl and I like blue." So it can be an either-person color.

Where was St. Petersburg built?

Peter the Great built a new capital city St. Petersburg and waged a long war against Sweden to win territory along the Baltic Sea. He mainly wanted a water route for Russian ships since Russia was a landlocked country without the Baltic Sea access. It is a modern beautiful city with pastel color buildings and palaces and celebrates its history of sailing and ships. Founded by Peter the Great in 1703 he secured the Neva River and began to build. The area he chose was a bogland that flooded and more than 40,000 Swedish prisoners of war and peasants worked and died there. Very little of the early city still exists because it was made of wood and didn't weather well. I visited the city in 2008 and found it equal to any European city today. The city has canals like Venice, Italy with 41 islands that are connected by bridges. Outside the city is Peterhoff the palace of Peter the Great and it can be reached by car or by hovercraft down the Neva. In the summer months the city is so far north that it never gets dark and its location is only 500 miles from the Artic Circle.

What was about peter the great as a political figure what he done using political power?

Peter the Great was an interesting man. He travelled around Europe and visited the capitals of Europe. Russia was an enclosed country with no sea access and he decided to grow and become part of the European community and to be able to trade they needed a water route. He wanted Russia to be a great nation so created a navy, reorganized the army to wester standards, sought to have more control over the church, made schools secular, and introduced new administration and territories divisions of the country. He overcame opposition from the medieval aristocracy to the reforms he was doing within the country. He recruited experts to educate his people about technological advancements and he developed a larger commerce and industrial growth. Peter modernized the calendar and established the first Russian newspaper. Territory was also acquired and he secured access to the Black Sea by defeating the Swedish army for the land that became St. Petersburg. In 1712 the city was established and built out of the mud ( look for pictures of the city for your power point. It is a beautiful city with buildings in pastel islands connected by bridges and canals ( yet they don't use the canals like they do in Venice). I have been there and rush hour traffic is the worse I have seen in any country. Peter the Great belt an magnificent palace outside of the city and all of the fountains use gravity to work ( they do still work too). Peter the Great was ahead of his time. Fashion of the 1960's?

The 60s were famous for the Carnaby Street (London) fad, which featured the "Mod" look. This encompassed bell-bottom pants, mini-skirts, big geometric drop earrings, trapeze dresses, wide ties and lapels for men, and go-go boots with patterned or fishnet stockings for women.
