It is extremely difficult and quite easy, simultaneously, to define or list the sub-genre of Science Fiction. The thing is, every possible genre can and likely has fallen under the larger umbrella of science fiction.

About the only unique sub-genre of science fiction, really more of a plot or theme, is the Frankenstein Syndrome (FS). FS has become such a common element of science fiction that it has really taken on the form of a sub-genre.

If you see words like alien, robot, rocket, time travel, and scientist, it is science fiction. If you see the word magic or any magical creature such as witches, wizards, dragon, griffon, or such, the book is fantasy.
