∙ 11y agoIt is extremely difficult and quite easy, simultaneously, to define or list the sub-genre of Science Fiction. The thing is, every possible genre can and likely has fallen under the larger umbrella of science fiction.
About the only unique sub-genre of science fiction, really more of a plot or theme, is the Frankenstein Syndrome (FS). FS has become such a common element of science fiction that it has really taken on the form of a sub-genre.
