Pinky Balls are sponge rubber play balls, about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Historically they were used as a cheap and safer substitute for baseballs in games of street Baseball or indoor play. Now they are more commonly used in chiropractic, massage and physical therapy settings for self massage. Tight back muscles can be deeply massaged by lying on a pinky ball on the floor or leaning against a pinky ball on the wall and pressing into the tight miscles.
