some good effects of VOLCANOES are:1). fertilization of soil. basically, volcanic rock is rich in many minerals, which help plants grow. 2). destruction. as weird as it may sound, destroying the overgrown parts of a place with lots of plants is a good thing because it clears away old plants to make room for new ones. some bad things are:1.) property damage. fire=burn.not good for happy homes. 2). smoke, ash, and clouds. the smoke, ash, and dust thrown up by a volcanic eruption create a cloud that blocks out the sun, cooling down the area, if not the earth, to a minor scale. these are two examples of both, if you need more, look it up elsewhere.
