What are freaks internal conflicts in Freak the Mighty?

The main conflict in freak the mighty is that Max feels as if he is nothing. He is being chased by the "Blade" and the gang who obviously hates him and Freak. Max's grandparents don't really except him for who he is and what he looks like. Also, Max's Father Kenny Kane is a convicted murderer and is imprisoned; therefore everyone in Max's school is afraid of max and his family. Especially, Max's size feels like a threat to kids in school. That's basically all the conflicts in Max's life so if you put that all together, the main conflict in hatred because everyone hates Max.

In Freak the Mighty, the conflict is that Max must overcome his feeling of being a "nothing", and he must learn to accept himself for who he is. Max must also escape from his father after he captures him.
