The truth is hes not angry at all, hes simply frustrated when he can not achieve his desired goal, to "KILL THE WABBIT!" Which would make him feel empowered as he is insecure in his masculinity. However when he believes he has, he feels remorse for what hes done, "OH NO! I've killed the poor wittle bunny wabbit! What have I done?" Exposing a vulnerable sensitivity to life. Consequently, he masks it over with his "ANGRY FUDD" facade when he realizes he's been duped by "THAT WASCALWY WABBIT!"
