Maybe it would be better to them with a person about 16. each state changes its laws for this but the general safe age for a child ot babysit is 13 in most areas of the world. in australia a child can not be left unsupervised unless they are atleast 11 making this an ideal babysitting age. however trust is always a key factor at this age.
