There is an enourmous range of wildlife you can find when going on safari, and the specific animals you find is totally dependant on which country you visit. The most common and popular safaris are in African countries such as South Africa (with Krugar National Park) , Tanzania (with the Serengetti) , Kenya (with the Masai Mara) etc. The Big Five are often the most commercialised and sought-after animals to find; this list comprises of Lion, Leopard, Elephant, (Black) Rhino and Buffalo. Other common animals associated with safaris are Cheetah, Giraffe, Wildebeast, Hartebeast, Zebra, Gazelle, Impala, Warthog - ranging to the much more elusive and rare honey badger and bushbaby!
