Ponyboy has alot of foils in the book but i think the most noticable one is Ponyboy and Darry. They have both different personalities and Darry always pushes Ponyboy, especially in school. These are just a few ones, I hope you can think of some more. -R.G.R

The outsiders are exactly two rival groups that are the Greasers and the Socs. Really i think it's the people who don't follow the rival gangs. For example, Ponyboy, johnny, cherry and randy, don't follow the trend of hating each other, so they would considered outsiders.
