The Titanic was built between 1910 and '11 at the Harland and Wolff shipyards in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was launched in the Autumn of 1911, then fitted out and sent for sea-trials before making her maiden voyage in April 1912. The shipyard where she was built still exists today.
