The ship can only go down once. How can they make a sequel? No, there was no sequel. However this movie / story has been told several times over the years.

People are asking this question because of the trailor that was put on YouTube, there is not a sequel to the titanic. The trailor is just clips from various films including the movie and then sounded over to make it sound like a film.

Though on Google there was a photo of a new movie: "The Titanic 2- Jack is Back", but this is also fan made.

There is a movie called Titanic II, but it's not a sequel to the original Titanic move from 1997. It came out in 2010.

also there is a trailer on youtube which is a spoof and if your asking about that, it never came out. someone made it just for fun.
