I remember reading something about a street in Dublin, Ireland (I believe it was somewhere in Tallaght) that was named after him but I had a quick search on Google Maps and couldn't find any reference to it. I'm sure I didn't imagine it though.

Actually I've managed to dig up an old Dublin Street Guide and managed to locate it. There is an Armstrong Walk in addition to an Aldrin Walk and a Tranquility Grove off the Oscar Traynor Road in Coolock, Dublin. That must be the street I was thinking of. Don't know why I thought it was in Tallaght but at least it answers your question.
