No one has ever died during the filming of a MythBusters episode, and all main cast members are still alive. Erik Gates, guest expert on Mythbusters, fell through a skylight and died of his injuries. However, his accident didn't occur in connection to a Mythbusters appearances; he died while doing contract work for his own company, Gateco Electric, on December 20, 2009. See the link below.
Tickling can be fun for some, but not others. It kind of depends on who is the ticklee, and who is the tickler. Also other things matters such as: How well does the 2 know eachother? How ticklish IS the one getting tickled? Where and how is the person getting tickled? And does the tickee enjoy tickling? Tickling can be use for many things as well Punishment :example a parent tickling a child as "Punishment" Love : a boyfriend may tickle his girlfriend for his own way to say "I love you" And many other reasons. It really depends on who's getting tickled, how are they getting tickled, why, and who is tickling them
Yes. The Mythbusters themselves have answered this question on their website. Here are Adam and Jamie's answers. Adam- "Besides a couple of stitch-worthy cuts that I've sustained, I'd say the greatest injury has been to my dignity when receiving a rectal thermometer during the "Goldfinger Revisit" myth." Jamie- "So far we have only had minor cuts and scrapes. The worst of these was a broken finger sustained, ironically, by one of the crew when handling safety equipment; specifically the bullet resistant Lexguard panels we use which are quite heavy. We are becoming increasingly aggressive about maintaining safety on the show as over time -- as we are often replicating circumstances in which someone got hurt or killed, let's just say we have reason to be cautious."
